GSA VETS GWAC (GS- 06F- 0514):
e-EndUSA / ESN provides Information Technology (IT) Engineering and Technical Services to support the Veterans Technology Services, Government Wide
Acquisition Contract (GWAC), a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (MA/IDIQ) contract. The GSA VETS contract was awarded under
the Federal Supply Services, Small Business GWAC Center, which was set aside for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses. The contract
provides civilian agencies and the Department of Defense the ability to obtain a broad range of comprehensive IT support service in a timely and
cost-effective manner.
This contract award was a significant achievement for ESN (and hence their subcontractor e-EndUSA). We are among only 43 companies that were awarded
contracts to bid and perform in the functional areas (FA1 & FA2). The two Functional Areas are:
- FA-1 - Systems Operation and Maintenance
- FA2 – Information Systems Engineering.
WHY GSA VETS GWAC?
VETS (Veterans Technology Services), a a service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside GWAC, encompasses the functional
areas of systems operation and maintenance, and information systems engineering. VETS is designed to provide worldwide information technology solutions
to federal agencies, while strengthening federal contracting opportunities for service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns.
The VETS GWAC will assist agencies in meeting their 3 percent service-disabled veteran-owned small business goals, by providing pre-qualified industry
partners in one easy-to-use contract vehicle. Service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses will, in turn, be provided with opportunities to compete amongst
a smaller group of contract holders, allowing self-marketing opportunities, and a chance to develop their businesses before moving into larger acquisition environments.
