e-End operates a secure facility in Frederick, MD and provides clients with the solution to the proper disposal of old electronics and the secure destruction of data that resides on electronic equipment removed from service.

One of the fastest growing segments of our nation’s waste stream is e-waste. Some researchers estimate that nearly 75 percent of old electronics are in storage, in part because of the uncertainty of how to properly dispose of these items and concern for the data that is on their equipment.

Our clients include federal government agencies, large corporations and a wide variety of other entities. In most cases, federal regulations require businesses of all sizes to use the types of services e-End offers. Our data destruction and electronic recycling services are certified to be performed properly and securely.

Proposal Writing - Customer Relations

Position Responsibilities:

The Primary function for this position will be to provide high level customer service to current, and potential clients via telephone and email. Preparing cost proposals to clients and replying to RFP's.

Tasks to Be Performed:

  • Answer client phone calls and emails

  • Prepare proposals for clients. (RFP) (This is a primary function of the position)

  • Work with clients who visit our facility to have data destroyed or equipment recycled.

  • Contact, via phone and email current and inactive clients

  • Assist other team members as may be required

  • Greet and provide service to our walk-in clients

  • Additional task requests as needed

Position Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Relations, Proposal Writing. Business Sales, Federal and/or Corporate Experience in the area of IT or electronic systems is preferred.

  • Basic IT knowledge is a plus.

  • Must be familiar with MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs

  • Familiarity with evaluating, preparing, and completing RFP’s and proposals.

  • Related Experience and success in customer service.

  • Proven oral and written communication skills including the ability to write, edit, and proofreading of proposals

  • Strong work ethic

  • Independent working and decision making skills

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google G Suite

  • Easily adaptable to a fast-paced office environment

  • Working knowledge of the Internet and research skills

Position Requirement:

  • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds (necessary when assisting clients who drop off equipment)

  • Applicants must be U. S. citizens or eligible to work in the United States.

Marketing/Visual Designer/Web Design and Maintenance

The Marketing/Visual Design/Web Design & Maintenance position as you see is a touch of everything-and rightfully so. For our small company, e-End has the opportunity for you to show off you skills. The MVW Designer will work both independently yet in a team atmosphere on projects of marketing, web design, and business development.

Additionally, the MVW Designer’s duties breakdown into the following categories,

Marketing Tasks:

  • Co-manage ad campaigns for social media, mailchimp and other online marketing.

  • Research online customer data to identify and define target audiences.

  • Develop promotional materials: including: online newsletters, articles, and print materials.

  • Develop web graphics for social media and website that connect with company topics.

Print Design Tasks:

  • Create branding materials for company as needed

  • Develop promotional materials as needed

  • Design materials including graphics, presentations, that support the company’s certifications and help employee training.

Web Design Task:

  • Writing and editing online content

  • Designing web page layouts

  • Determining technical requirements

  • Updating websites

  • Creating backup files

  • Solving code problems

  • Maximizing SEO

  • And other tasks as needed

Position Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in either Web design, marketing, print design, visual design, and/or graphic design.

  • Understanding and ability to apply appropriate layout, typography, color and imagery designs for both online and print marketing campaigns.

  • Proven oral and written communication skills including the ability to write, edit, and proofreading advertising and marketing materials and articles.

  • A working knowledge of social media advertising campaigns and the ability to utilize online channels to help maximize our company’s visual presence.

  • Capable to function independently while effectively managing and prioritizing job tasks and deadlines.

  • Fluent effective understanding of Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Proficient with web marketing content, online account integration, HTML, and CSS programming.

Applicant must have a proven history of independently creating design content with either a physical or online portfolio (preferably both).
