Join in activities like our 6K Run, our bike rides & bike rodeo, the car, truck & motorcycle show, horseshoe contest, traditional field games, live music, kids activities and rides, craft & vendor show, parade, Memorial Program, and our Independence Day Fireworks!  And if you love history the civil war tours at the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton as well as two national monuments and two museums are open to explore.  We are within fifteen minutes of the Gettysburg civil war sites and a half an hour from the Frederick civil war sites.  Make Saturday, June 30th a day to visit Emmitsburg!

e-End will be attending this special Meetup that will feature a Fireside Chat with Lieutenant Colonel John Agnello, Analytic Capabilities Branch Chief, Applied Research and Development Division, U.S. Cyber Command and Matt Dunlop, Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer, Under Armour. The Chat will be facilitated by Marcelle Lee, CEO, Fractal Security Group. 

Registrants are encouraged to submit a question to be addressed during the casual, interactive conversation with our Fireside Chat participants.

Lt. Col. Agnello’s Branch mission: The Analytics Branch supports global cyber warfighter operations by overseeing and performing applied research and development of advanced analytics for USCYBERCOM and its subordinate and peer organizations. The branch provides strategic support to ensure that the necessary standards, policies, and processes are in place to satisfy cross-cutting analytic needs across USCYBERCOM and the Service Cyber Components. Additionally, we are a key part of the machine learning and artificial intelligence group in DoD.

Cumberland County to Hold Tire and Electronics Collection, Saturday, May 4 in Mechanicsburg

Cumberland County Vector Control, in partnership with, PA CleanWays of Cumberland County, Keep PA Beautiful, Mechanicsburg Borough, and e-End will host a tire and electronics collection for Cumberland County residents.                 

The collaborative event provides a convenient and affordable alternative to illegal dumping, littering of tires and electronic equipment throughout the county.

The collection is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. – Noon, Soldiers and Sailors Park, 2 Memorial Park Drive, Mechanicsburg

Pre-registration and payment, requested for tire collections, runs Monday, March 18 – Thursday, May 2, 2019. Contact Stephanie Larson, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, 724.836.4121  x104, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4p.m. Credit card and check payments will be accepted.

Cash payments only will be accepted for the disposal of CRT monitors and CRT Televisions, on the day of the event. For electronics, e-End certifies that 100% of data on electronic media is securely destroyed. Collection fees:

  • Car/truck size on or off rim: $3 per tire

  • Tractor trailer size: $7 per tire

  • Large agricultural tires: $25 per tire

  • CRT Monitors: $15.00 per unit

  • CRT Televisions: $30.00 per unit

All other electronics will be disposed of at no charge.
